The whole premise of The Mindful Dancer is to raise the awareness of health and well being amongst ballroom dancers. Too often we see super talented dancers stop dancing, an art they loved, due to the pressures and stress in the industry. It definitely can be gruelling and it can impose pressures that if not managed can alter behaviours, cause long term damage or just dull your sparkle. My mission is for more dancers to prioritise their personal development so they can continue to show up as the best version of themselves, produce amazing performances AND having the time of their life doing it.
